About me!

You probably want to look at my work –

Well that’s cool, but shall we break the ice first?

me

I’m a recent graduate of Wolverhampton University, having completed a BA (Hons) Illustration Degree. I specialised in Children’s Illustration, but have also worked on Editorial and Older Children-Adult Book Illustration too.

I love to work with colour and texture, often incorporating handmade and scanned textures into my work. I predominately work in Lino Printing, Digital Collage and Acrylic Paint and Pen.

I’m an avid baker and cook in my very little spare time, and generally make bread to relieve any stress and tension I have from working. I also enjoy stargazing and am a fanatic on anything Space related. If I wasn’t an Illustrator, I’d like to think i’d have become an astrophysicist (although I wasn’t that great at Chemistry and Physics at school)!

I enjoy animated films of any sort, and my biggest guilty pleasure is laughing my socks off to terrible Horror and B-Movies. I have a giant dog (Labrador x horse x Weimeraner) named Parker and a cat named Poppy, who makes a regular appearance on my sketchblog. I also have a deep love of all things vintage and retro, including colour palettes, which feature heavily in my recent work.

I’ve worked on a series of Science Books for the University of Wolverhampton, which are being used by Primary and Secondary schools in the UK.

I am currently a freelance Illustrator, available to hire.

Please feel free to drop me a message or whatever; I love to chat to people!
